Q: I have been going to the same stylist at the same salon for years. Now I would like to try another stylist in the salon but I am afraid I will offend my current stylist. I don't want to upset anyone. What is the proper protocol?
A: Your haircut is not about the stylist. It is about what makes you, the client, feel good and happy with the service you received. At our salon, we try to make sure our clients know they can try different stylists. Sometimes a client may be attracted to a different personality or may need a different perspective.
We are not offended by this and would prefer that you try other stylists here before you go to another salon. We can even work with you to help you find the best fit. Just ask.
